Homemade tomato sauce for pastas and pizzas

Hi All...
Pastas and Pizzas are every body's  favourite now a days......not only kids but even adults like them too.
How about making fresh pastas and pizzas at home ? Homemade food is always my first choice of giving it to my son :-)
Earlier I shared veg pizza recipe with you all ..today I am posting a recipe of how to make pasta or pizza tomato sauce at home.

Ingredients:
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (crushed)
  • 500 gm tomatoes (finely chopped)
  • 1 small onion  (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1/2 tbsp chilly flakes
  • 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Salt acc.to taste
  • A pinch of ajinomoto (optional)
Method:
  1. Heat oil in a pan, add garlic and onion.
  2. Cook till onions become light pink in colour.
  3. Add tomatoes, mix well. Cover and cook on low flame till tomatoes become mashy.
  4. Add oregano, chilly flakes, sugar, black pepper and salt. Simmer on low flame for 5-7 mins.
  5. Remove from fire, tomato sauce is ready. You can use this sauce for pastas or pizzas.

Note: You can use electric chopper to get finely chopped tomatoes and onions.
