Ready with another post... Earlier I mentioned about dosa with sambhar this time its Vada with Sambhar...
Ingredients:
2 cups urad dal 2-3 green chillies 1 spring curry leaves 1/2 tbsp black pepper corns Salt to taste Oil for frying | |
Method: |
- Wash and soak the dal for minimum 3-4 hrs.
- Grind dal without adding any water.
- Now mix green chilies, curry leaves, peppercorns and salt in dal batter.
- Heat oil in a kadai.
- Dip your hands in water and take a small size of batter.
- Flatten with your palms to form a round shape.
- Make a hole in the centre with finger.
- Drop the flattened batter into the oil and deep fry till they become golden brown in colour.
- Drain the excess oil on an absorbent paper .
- Serve hot with coconut chutney and sambar.
