Hi All...
Pastas and Pizzas are every body's favourite now a days......not only kids but even adults like them too.
How about making fresh pastas and pizzas at home ? Homemade food is always my first choice of giving it to my son :-)
Earlier I shared veg pizza recipe with you all ..today I am posting a recipe of how to make pasta or pizza tomato sauce at home.
Ingredients:
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic (crushed)
- 500 gm tomatoes (finely chopped)
- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1/2 tbsp chilly flakes
- 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Salt acc.to taste
- A pinch of ajinomoto (optional)
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan, add garlic and onion.
- Cook till onions become light pink in colour.
- Add tomatoes, mix well. Cover and cook on low flame till tomatoes become mashy.
- Add oregano, chilly flakes, sugar, black pepper and salt. Simmer on low flame for 5-7 mins.
- Remove from fire, tomato sauce is ready. You can use this sauce for pastas or pizzas.
Note: You can use electric chopper to get finely chopped tomatoes and onions.
